At this moment I will being going into university as a mechanical engineering major and wish to pursue a career in this engineering discipline. I want to go into this field of engineering to learn more about cars and to improve them more in what ever job I get in this field. Felix Wankel was a mechanical engineer/inventor who spent a large majority of his life developing a new combustion engine for car at the age of 17. Wankel was actually left his university early not getting a degree. He worked in a machine shop which gave him the opportunity to work on his experiment since he was not able to get an apprenticeship. Revolutionary, innovative, legendary, enthusiastic, and rebellious. I like Wankel's career path because he saw innovation in the combustion engine, worked from very little resources and through this career path, he made an engine which was used for legendary, unique vehicles.
